Who to contact

Namibia Insider is operated by Wico Grobler, trading as Namibia Insider, based in Windhoek, Namibia. For enquiries and privacy requests, email hello@namibiainsider.travel. Windhoek is our public contact location, not a walk-in office address.

Trip enquiries

The enquiry form asks for your name, email, country, travel dates, group size, interests, travel style and approximate budget. Optional notes help explain what you would like from your trip. Please do not include passport copies, payment card details or sensitive medical information.

The form currently prepares an email in your own email application. It does not automatically send your enquiry or save the entered details to a website database. If you send the email, we receive it in our business mailbox, hosted through Network Solutions.

Why we use your information

We use the details you send to respond, discuss suitable trip options and manage the enquiry you requested. We do not add you to a marketing mailing list simply because you enquire. You can ask us to stop following up at any time.

Supplier introductions

Before passing your contact details or trip requirements to a supplier, we will explain the introduction and ask for your agreement. Suppliers handle their own bookings and privacy arrangements. Do not send payment information to Namibia Insider: travellers pay suppliers directly.

Website services and cookies

Hosting and security services process technical connection information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect this website. Photographs are served with the site. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives connection information when the font files are requested.

We use optional Google Analytics to measure page visits and enquiry-button interactions. It loads only after you choose Allow analytics. Analytics cookies are set with a six-month lifetime that may renew on a visit. Declining stops analytics and removes these first-party analytics cookies from this browser. The enquiry field values are not included in our analytics events. Your analytics choice is saved in your browser; you can change it using Cookie settings in the footer.

Service providers may process information outside Namibia. Their own policies describe their processing: Network Solutions privacy policy and Google privacy policy. How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Keeping and correcting information

We keep enquiry correspondence for handling your request and relevant follow-up. Records may also need to be kept for accounting, dispute resolution or legal obligations. Contact us to ask what information we hold, correct it, or request deletion. We will explain any information that must be retained and may need to verify that a request concerns your information.
